The combination of next generation sequencing and protein expression profiling is a recent advance in single-cell sequencing (scSeq) technologies. For instance, CITE-Seq or REAP-Seq combines measurements of cellular proteins and transcriptomes. This advance in proteogenomics will potentially transform how complex cell populations are studied. Published data, as well as those from our own studies, indicate that scSeq analysis on cell surface marker expression is comparable to multi-color flow cytometry, but provides superior capacity in multiplexing. To support application of the new technologies and enable reliable comparison of data across longitudinal and multi-site studies, we provide standardized oligonucleotide barcode-labeled antibodies (TotalSeqTM conjugates). This product line comprises conjugated reagents in which a unique oligo barcode is assigned to each of our monoclonal antibodies. In addition, we assigned/conjugated a series of oligonucleotide barcodes to select clones of antibodies specific to “universally” expressed cell surface molecules. These products (Hashtags) can be used to label cells from different sources, experiments, etc. Here, we show relevant validation data and examples for TotalSeqTM, including hashtag products.
