PROFILE Currently a Master of Research Student in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and data administrator in the clinical trials unit at Macquarie University. Interest in working on Head and neck cancer. Associated with the Indian Cancer Society in the detection of oral cancer cases and analyzed Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Dentoalveolar Surgeries. Currently a member of the students’ association in the Morling Residential College. SKILLS Worked on target-specific Cre recombinase driver for Villin-Cre (VC/HO) or CDIIc-Cre (IIc/HO) floxed C57BL6 mice for Suppressor of Cytokine Signaling 3 (SOCS3) modification to study its impact on the regulation of Indoleamine 2,3- dioxygenase (IDO) in case of Colorectal cancer. Diagnosed numerous Pre-Malignant /Malignant lesions and conditions, including a case of Plummer Vinson Syndrome leading to in-situ adeno colorectal carcinoma and treated various medically compromised patients, indeed case of Gingivectomy done on a renal failure patient. Organized and executed various community welfare dental camps and presented Poster in Indian Dental Association and presented a paper on the topic multidisciplinary team approach in cleft lip and palate management in 2010 scientific presentation and attended various continuing dental education programs. EDUCATION  1st July 2018- present: MRes Candidate under the supervision of A/Prof Dr. Karen Vickery. Currently working with Surgical Infection group on cancer research and develop possible newer target for cancer treatment.  Successfully established collaboration with Dr. Charbel Darido, Sir Peter MacCallum Cancer Research Center, Melbourne University with the Surgical Infection group, Macquarie University.  October 2016-September 2017: M.Sc. In Biomedicine, Lancaster University, Lancaster. My Postgraduate Degree focused on Cancer: Evasion of the immune system and includes research, project work, literature Review, Scientific Paper, Outline grant application, Oral Presentation, and independent study.  My research project is on the role of Suppressor of cytokine signaling 3 regulating Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase in colorectal cancer  Working on the molecular biological aspects of cancer.  Cloning a gene  Viral evolution  Learned SPSS  Attended North West Cancer Symposium, Liverpool, 2017.  Successfully Completed Front Runner Management Course, 2017.  2006-2011: Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the West Bengal University of Health Sciences, Kolkata, India EXPERIENCE  June 2012-August 2016 Periodontal Surgery Practice.  Innovation – Innovated “pre-fabricated post modified composite restoration”.  Interest: Immunomodulation in Cancer  Data Administrator in clinical trials unit at Macquarie University from February 2019.
