Rahul Sanwlani
I am Rahul Sanwlani, a PhD candidate in Mathivanan lab. My laboratory is based in the La Trobe Institute for Molecular Sciences, La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. Our lab has a variety of projects based on Extracellular vesicle biogenesis and origin, role in cancer progression, epithelial-mesenchymal transition and chemoresistance. My primary research focus is to study bovine milk derived extracellular vesicles and their role in cancer progression. I have been a part of Mathivanan group for over 3 years now. Prior to commencing my PhD, I finished my master’s research year under Professor Mathivanan’s supervision with a project focused on drug targets for epithelial-mesenchymal transition.
