Luiza Steffens Reinhardt
Graduated in Analytical Toxicology from the Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre - UFCSPA (2016). She holds a master's degree in the UFCSPA Graduate Program in Biosciences and a Capes research grant, performing a sandwich master's degree at the Athlone Institute of Technology with Government of Ireland Scholarship (2019). Currently, she is a Ph.D. student at the University of Newcastle, Australia, working with p53 isoforms and their relationship with breast cancer. She has experience in the field of DNA repair, genotoxicity, mutagenicity, cancer, in vitro and in vivo assays, biomedical polymers and nanotechnology, working mainly on the following topics: DNA damage signaling, determination of pharmacological properties and safety assessment of new compounds, both
natural and synthetic, polymeric formulations to treat cancer.
